Ballykeenan House Pet Farm and Aviary Myshall was once a famous working farm employing some twenty men. There are old stone farm buildings around the house. They have fun for all the family including animals staying on the farm ranging from horses, ponies, deer, goats, sheep, pigs, dogs, hamsters, chipmunks, guinea pigs, hedgehog and a variety of birds.

At Go-With-The-Flow River Adventures, the family can experience the River Barrow from a different perspective as you navigate your canoe through playful rapids on a river safari.

Carlow Military Museum is a treasure trove of displays from Carlow and Ireland’s military history. One of the museum’s most intriguing features is its reconstruction of a World War One trench. Other displays include the Irish War of Independence, Irish Civil War. The Audio/Visual content which accompanies this element of the museum includes footage of the War of Independence and Civil War in Ireland for members of the family interested in history.

Country Quads, Tinnecarrig in Borris caters for all members of the family. Parents and older kids can tackle the tougher, rougher, parts of the track with younger the kids can enjoy their own special areas.

Ireland visitor discounts is a fantastic free downloadable discount voucher for leading Irish cultural and heritage visitor attractions. You should download a form for each member of the family and bring this with you when you are travelling. Discounts include two for the price of one in leading tourist attractions, free admission at some attractions and between 10 and 20% off other attractions.
